Walter Visentin lavora e ha lavorato per clienti e progetti importanti, nazionali ed internazionali. Scompone gli oggetti, inventa nuove forme, ne individua ulteriori funzioni, creando opere d’arte decontestualizzate e dirompenti che si adattano allo spazio che le circonda. Dall’inizio degli anni 2000, la sua ricerca si concentra su ciò che già esiste. Materiali usati, abbandonati, dimenticati. Non scelti per la loro perfezione, ma per quello che si portano dietro. Invece di cancellare quel passato, ci costruisce sopra.
Walter Visentin has worked and keeps working for important, national and international clients and projects. He deconstructs objects, invents new shapes, finds out further functions, by creating contextualized and disruptive artworks fitting the space around them. Since the early 2000s, his research has focused on what already exists. Material that have been used, left behind, overlooked. Not chosen for their perfection, but for what they carry. Instead of erasing that past, he builds from it.
